We have decided to take the plunge and set off on a round the world trip for a year from the 15th March 2003. Here is our rough itinerary, which can be flexible.

16 March - 3 April	Thailand	Exploring Bangkok and finding a beach to relax on
4 April - 30 April	China	Essence of China Tour with Intrepid Travel starting in Beijing and travelling south to Hong Kong. Highlights include walking along the Great Wall, visiting the Terracotta Warriors in Xian, seeing the pandas in Chengdu and a boat trip on the Yangtse river.
30 April - 2 May	Singapore	Exploring a new city.
2 May - 28 May	Perth, Australia	Exploring the West Coast.
28 May - 2 June	Alice Springs, Australia	Visit Uluru (Ayers Rock).
2 June - 15 June	Darwin, Australia	Maybe take a trip to the Bungle Bungles.
15 June - 15 Oct	Cairns to Sydney, Australia	Exploring the Great Barrier Reef and travelling down the East Coast.
15 Oct - 15 Jan	New Zealand	Hoping to buy a campervan, travel around and do some tramping.
15 Jan - 30 Jan	Fiji	Relaxing on the beach.
30 Jan - 15 Feb	The Cook Islands	Island hopping and beaches.
15 Feb - 14 March	Los Angeles to Las Vegas, USA	Taking in the Grand Canyon and other national parks along the way.
14 March	Las Vegas, USA	Return to London Gatwick
